New hair stylesJessica has decided that it is time for a change. The star has apparently decided to dye her blond locks, but has yet to settle on a new hair color. Jessica recently made the transition from blond to redhead (an auburn shade). That didn’t go over so well, so she pulled out her credit card and went for a new shade.

As a result, she is trying out a dark brunette look. She sported the darker style at Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills this past week and most would agree that she looked much better.

Jessica's DirecTV ad pulledThe UPI has reported that a NY judge ordered DirecTV ads featuring Jessica and William Shatner to be pulled while Time Warner Cable`s false advertising lawsuit proceeds.

In the report, it is stated that Time Warner, the nation`s second-largest cable provider, sued DirecTV, saying among other things, DirecTV`s ads about its high definition programming being superior to cable programming were misleading.

DirecTV will still be allowed to use comparative advertising about overall picture quality compared to Time Warner Cable, the judge said.

Hurt by speedy datingIn a recent Elle magazine interview, Jessica said that when ex-husband Nick jumped back into dating after their high-profile breakup, it was not taken easily.

“Oh, it hurt me,” the 26-year-old singer-actress gushed in an interview in the March issue of Elle magazine, on newsstands February 13. “Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I’d say it kind of hurt me.”

These words come despite the fact the she is the one who filed for divorce in December 2005, after three years of marriage.

Nick not over Jessica?Jessica's ex, Nick Lachey, may have jumped into a relationship before he was ready. Just recently, according to TMZ, a wandering eyed Nick was caught by his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, when she saw him cozying up with a Jessica Simpson look-alike at Plumm nightclub.

Lachey and Minnillo had come to the club to catch Joey McIntyre’s performance, when Nick was seen with a look-alike of his ex-wife. The look-aike signaled him to call her as she left the place, prompting Minnillo to jump onto the scene demanding an explanation.

John has some teaching to do.Jessica seems to be the center of attention, even when she is not in the spotlight. She recently acquired groupie status while following new flame, John Mayer, to his concerts in Florida.

According to Pug Bus, Jessica was dancing in the wings at a concert, singing along happily while her newest beau entertained cheering fans. Trouble was, she got many of the lyrics wrong.

“It was a hoot,” said one of Mr. Mayer’s roadies, who reasonably requested not to be identified.

Jessica is accompanying John for part of his tour in Florida, Us Weekly reported on its Web site recently. The singer has three dates scheduled in the sunshine state.

Jessica arrived in Miami on Monday morning (Jan. 22) to meet up with John at the Four Seasons Hotel, the magazine reported.

Charitable donation!Jessica Simpson has donated a minivan she won at the MTV Video Music Awards last year to an orphanage in Mexico.

The 26-year-old won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at the show and asked the car company if she could exchange it for a minivan for the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo.

Mama Lupita, who runs the orphanage, has previously been without transportation.

A source told People magazine, “Last week, someone asked Mama Lupita if she could use a van at the orphanage. Mama Lupita said, ‘We have no transportation at all. Of course we could use it.’ So then she was told that she was getting a brand new eight-passenger van from Jessica Simpson for the orphanage.”

Jessica and John in NYCAfter attending the Academy Awards with sweetheart Jessica Simpson, John Mayer left to head back out on tour. The time apart apparently is too much for Jessica, as she headed cross country to meet back up with her beau.

According to Access Hollywood, Simpson boarded a plane at LAX on Wednesday and flew into the Big Apple where she reunited with Mayer, who had been on the east coast performing.

"The canoodling couple was photographed at NY hotspot Stereo at an after-party following Mayer’s Wednesday night gig. John and Jess were spotted holding hands, kissing and cuddling in the corner of the club,” AH sources noted.
